Susan A. Besser
ASID, LEED AP, principal designer of Franklin Preservation Associates is a Tennessee Registered Interior Designer.

Susan specializes in renovating existing houses, especially kitchens and baths and worked for a leading Nashville kitchen and bath showroom for several years. She studied at the University of Louisville before moving to Franklin and completed her interior design studies at O’More College of Design. Her love of preservation inspired her to obtain her Masters of Arts from Middle Tennessee State University. Susan has shared her love of design and preservation as an instructor at O’More College of Design and Watkins College of Art & Design and as guest lecturer for Preservation Dallas. Susan works to develop relationships with her clients so that together they can create a sanctuary. She believes that each client has a unique vision of their home and works to incorporate their treasured pieces into a unified whole. ‘

“Whether you are planning an entire house or a breakfast nook, whether you need a two-hour consult or detailed drawings, my firm can act as a sounding board for your ideas, as well as help to implement those changes My goal is to help you create your sanctuary—a haven that will feed your soul. “
